Du Quoin State Fair concert headliners announced

DU QUOIN - Contestant winners top the bill at this year's Du Quoin State Fair. Headliner Sawyer Brown won $100,000 in 1983 on Ed McMahon-hosted talent show, "Star Search." The 2006 American Idol finalist Kellie Pickler will share the stage with Christian rap-metal act P.O.D. and Disney's "High School Musical" star, Corbin Bleu. Sevendust, Justin Stein and Bucky Covington will also perform during the week of the fair, Aug. 23 through Sept. 1.

Tickets for all grandstand shows will be available July 21 at the fair's main grandstand office. The office is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. Contact John Rednour at 542-1515 for more information.
